Mario Vaisman holds a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1973), a Master's in Medicine (Endocrinology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1980), and a Ph.D. in Medicine (Endocrinology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1986). He is currently a full professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He is a member of the National Institute of Science and Technology for Translational Research in Health and Environment in the Amazon Region (INCT-INPeTAm). He has experience in Medicine, with an emphasis on Endocrinology, mainly focusing on the following topics: subclinical hypothyroidism, Graves' disease, adult GH deficiency, thyroid cancer, and hypothyroidism.

Miguel Madeira holds a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2003), Residency and Specialist Title in Endocrinology (RQE 28445), a Master's in Medicine (Endocrinology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2009), and a Ph.D. from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2013). He has experience in Internal Medicine, with an emphasis on Endocrinology. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a physician in the Endocrinology Service at the Federal Hospital of Bonsucesso. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute José Alencar (INCA).

Patrícia de Fátima dos S. Teixeira graduated in Medicine (1996) from FTE Souza Marques, completed her medical residency at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 2000, obtained a Master's in Medicine (Endocrinology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2003), and a Ph.D. in Medicine (Endocrinology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2007). She has experience in Medicine, with an emphasis on Endocrinology, mainly focusing on the following topics: thyroid, insulin resistance and cardiovascular risk, the impact of thyroid diseases in the elderly, thyroid nodules, and Graves' ophthalmopathy. She holds a specialist title in Endocrinology from the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism (SBEM) and is a tenured physician at the Clementino Fraga Filho University Hospital (UFRJ), working in the Endocrinology Service in clinical, academic, and administrative activities as the head of the service. She teaches undergraduate courses in endocrinology and is a permanent professor of the graduate program in endocrinology at UFRJ, supervising Master's, Ph.D., and scientific initiation students. She is a researcher in various projects in the field of thyroidology and has been recognized as a Young Scientist of Our State (FAPERJ/2012 and FAPERJ/2016) and as a Level 2 Researcher of CNPQ (PQ-2015, PQ-2019, PQ-2022). She is the President of the Thyroid Department of SBEM and a current member of the scientific committee of the Latin American Thyroid Society Congress - 2021. She is also a reviewer for journals, including Thyroid, Clinical Endocrinology, and Translational Research.

Monica Roberto Gadelha is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine - Endocrinology - at the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), currently serving as Deputy Director of Graduate Studies and President of the Graduate Studies and Research Commission in the Health Area - CPGPAS. She is a Titular Member of the National Academy of Medicine - chair number 06 - and was elected as a full member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences in 2023. She is the coordinator of the Neuroendocrinology Research Center at the Endocrinology Service of the Clementino Fraga Filho University Hospital (HUCFF) at UFRJ and the head of the Pituitary Adenomas Clinic at HUCFF - UFRJ. She graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at UFRJ in 1989, where she received the Golden Stethoscope award (first place in her class), completed her medical residency in the Endocrinology and Nutrition Services at HUCFF - UFRJ (1990-1993), and became a specialist in Endocrinology and Metabolism from the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism (SBEM) in 1992. She holds a Master's (1995) and Ph.D. (1999) in Endocrinology from the Faculty of Medicine at UFRJ, having completed a sandwich Ph.D. with a scholarship granted by CNPq at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) under the supervision of Professor Lawrence Frohman. She is the author of 237 full articles published in scientific journals, an Associate Editor of The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, one of the most important journals in the field of Endocrinology, and served as President of the Pituitary Society in 2021-2022. She was the President of the International Committee of SBEM in 2021-2022. Her clinical and translational research focuses on neuroendocrinology, specifically the molecular bases, clinical aspects, and precision medicine of pituitary adenomas (acromegaly, prolactinoma, Cushing's disease, and clinically non-functioning pituitary adenomas).

Rodrigo Soares Fortunato holds a degree in Physiotherapy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2004), a Master's in Biological Sciences (Physiology) (2005), and a Ph.D. in Sciences (2008) from the Carlos Chagas Filho Biophysics Institute at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He completed his postdoctoral research at the Gustave Roussy Cancer Institute (Paris), where he studied the hydrogen peroxide-generating system in the thyroid. He is currently an Associate Professor II at the Carlos Chagas Filho Biophysics Institute - UFRJ, focusing on studies related to endocrine-metabolic dysfunctions, redox homeostasis, and genomic instability. He is a permanent member of the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences (Physiology) (CAPES 7) and the Graduate Program in Medicine (Endocrinology) (CAPES 5), both at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He served as Deputy Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences (Physiology) (2018-2022). He is currently the Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences (Physiology), a Scientist of Our State at the Carlos Chagas Filho Foundation for Research Support of the State of Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ), and a CNPQ Research Productivity Fellow - Level 1C.
